“Am I ready?” shouldn’t be a guess.

After an injury or surgery, most people get cleared based on:

  • How long it’s been

  • Whether it still hurts

  • How it “looks” doing a few exercises

  • A gut feeling

Those things matter, but they leave a lot out. Feeling good and being ready aren’t always the same thing.

What we test

  • Strength, side to side: we use a force sensor to measure exactly how strong each side is, so we can see if your injured side has caught up

  • Jumping and landing: hop and jump tests that show power and control on each leg

  • Movement and performance tests: a series of tests matched to what your sport asks of you

  • Running: when it fits, a running analysis with a wearable sensor

You get numbers, not just an opinion.

Who it’s for

  • Athletes coming back from ACL reconstruction or other knee surgery

  • Anyone returning after an ankle sprain, hamstring strain, or shoulder injury

  • Runners heading back to full mileage and races

  • Active adults who want to know they’re ready for heavy lifting or competition

It’s also useful before you get hurt, as a baseline to compare against later.

Why testing matters

Going back too early is one of the most common reasons people get hurt again. Testing shows us any gaps that are left, so we can close them before you return.

It also gives you confidence. When you can see your numbers improve, you trust your body again.

How we help

We don’t guess…we assess. Your first visit is a full hour, 1-on-1 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. From there, your plan follows our three steps:

FEEL BETTER: Calm it down. We make sure what’s healing is calm and ready to be pushed.

MOVE BETTER: Rebuild it. We use your test results to target the strength, power, and control gaps that are left.

PERFORM BETTER: Keep it. We retest until your numbers say you’re ready, then build a plan to keep you there.

You’ll leave your first visit knowing what’s going on, what to do next, what to modify for now, and roughly how long it should take.
