Something nagging you in the box?

If you do CrossFit, you’ve probably already tried:

  • Scaling the movement that hurts (for months)

  • Mobility work before every class

  • Taping, sleeves, and wraps

  • Pushing through and hoping it goes away

We get it. CrossFit is your community, and nobody wants to sit out. Our goal is to keep you in the box while we fix the problem.

What we see in CrossFit athletes

  • Shoulder pain with overhead work, kipping, or handstand push-ups

  • Low back pain after deadlifts, cleans, or high-rep sets

  • Knee pain with squats, wall balls, or box jumps

  • Wrist pain in the front rack, burpees, or handstands

  • Elbow pain from pull-ups, toes-to-bar, and lots of grip

Most of it starts small. High volume and intensity are what turn small into stubborn.

Why CrossFit injuries tend to linger

  • Lots of reps under fatigue, when positions start to slip

  • Big jumps in volume around competitions and the Open

  • Mobility limits that force compensations in squats and overhead positions

  • Not enough recovery between hard days

  • Scaling forever instead of fixing the root cause

Rest calms things down. It doesn’t fix the position, strength, or capacity issue that caused it.

We speak CrossFit

We know the movements, the programming, and the culture. Many of our clients train at Centerville CrossFit, Freedom Pointe CrossFit, and Dayton CrossFit.

We’ll tell you what you can keep doing, what to modify for now, and how to build back to full RX without guessing. We’re happy to talk with your coach so everyone is on the same page.

How we help

We don’t guess…we assess. Your first visit is a full hour, 1-on-1 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. From there, your plan follows our three steps:

FEEL BETTER: Calm it down. Hands-on treatment and smart scaling so the pain settles while you keep training.

MOVE BETTER: Rebuild it. We fix the mobility, strength, and positions behind the problem, especially under fatigue.

PERFORM BETTER: Keep it. We build you back to full RX weights and volume, with a plan to keep you in the box.

You’ll leave your first visit knowing what’s going on, what to do next, what to modify for now, and roughly how long it should take.
